My choices are driven my the local means and resources, picking from word choices and phrases, but driven by my own means.

Meso:

“I am making intentional choices in my note taking.”

I am constructing phrases for a later reason and making intentional choices toward a goal of writing for myself.

Macro:

“I am taking notes for ENGL794-SP16 class.”

I am writing note for my ENGL794-SP16 class and am thus making intentional choices toward writing for an audience and the combined genre constructions that are built through the choices I’m making.
