I really wish I had more to write here than I do now. I did learn Ruby (although some of that knowledge is leaving me, I can already tell). And, of course, I’d still like to do more with Rails.
But, you know, I didn’t.
Still, I think learning Ruby is particularly important given the amount of time I spend with the web development crowd. (Knowing the lingua franca is pretty important, you know?) Even beyond the more practical usage side, just being about to talk about the language and the methods that are part of the framework (MVC, for example) are pretty vital as well.
So, nothing was done and, yeah, I’m probably just wasting words here, too, but I have to write the full posts and so I am doing that now. No worries, though. I can totally fill this space with totally empty words that don’t mean anything and have it look like a paragraph that meant something as I clear this last post that, honestly, I probably didn’t even need to write anyway given all the other posts I’ve written at this point. But, well, I do feel inclined to at least fake it, if nothing else. Sure, it’s a waste of everyone’s time, but at least it appears to be done, right?
